Professionalism, Objectivity, and Effectiveness

Dr. Swan is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist licensed in the State of Florida since 1998.  Dr. Swan serves as a Forensic Evaluator, Consultant, and Expert Witness in cases involving the legal system.  Dr. Swan was appointed to the Board of Psychology for the State of Florida in 2000 by Governor Jeb Bush and she was reappointed to the Board in 2004. 

Dr. Swan strives to maintain the highest level of professionalism, expertise, and knowledge in the matters in which she is called upon to testify.  She prides herself in being thorough and leaving 'no rock unturned' when performing psychological evaluations and when preparing to testify as an expert.  Dr. Swan’s commitment to being an objective expert who can see both sides of a situation has resulted in her being sought after by counsel on both sides of the issues.  In many cases, Dr. Swan has served as a court-appointed expert—often with mutual agreement among opposing counsel.  Dr. Swan‘s broad experience and her ability to simplify complex concepts has enabled her to explain technical material in down-to-earth language that is both easily understood and compelling.
